I'm in Long Beach Mississippi about a block and a half off the beach. As it stands, we are supposed to get the NE quadrant of this thing, and have 35+ feet of water roll in. If that's the case, my house will be sitting under 29 feet.
They are expecting us to get winds between 130 and 160 mph for at least 12 hours curfew goes into effect tonight at 9. We are leaving to go inland about 10 miles at 4 or so. Hopefully we'll have something to come back to in a few days. On a business note, I'm pretty sure I'll be way behind on reviews at portal-to-porn, so please bear with me, I'll get to them when I have a roof and power again.

Ouch...yea, this fucker is looking nasty
 FanTC...excellent choice...get the hell outta Dodge! Winds were up to 184 for a while, but have lessened to 160 now...very ugly for NO. Hope everyone got out while there was time. And for anyone in the surrounding area...hang on tight! |
