I also use StatsRemote. It doesn't specify in the documentation how that $$$/click figure is computed. It appears that it is simply taking the total $$$ for the specified time frame (new sales, trials and rebills) and dividing by clicks. This number would only be accurate if initial sales and rebills were relatively steady over an extended period. In the short term, monthly fluctuations would be heavily influenced by rebills from initial sales outside the specified time period. i.e. if the month immediately prior to the specified time period had unusually large number of initial sales, then there would be an unusually high number of first month rebills included, without the associated new sales.

I'm not saying that the short term numbers are totally meaningless, but they'd be best used for comparison month to month rather than as a way to rank individual programs.
