That is competely dependent on whether or not the individual submitter feels that it's worth the effort. I personally find submitting to be a very stressful and time-consuming process. Therefore, my list is exceedingly short. I also prefer not to create mirrors of my free sites in hopes that the SE gods and goddesses with bestow many blessings upon them. Yes, I could alter each mirror, but that falls back to whether or not one feels it's worth the extra effort. Most mass submitters simply mirror like crazy in an attempt to grab as much traffic as possible. I've wondered if it's truly worth it, from a sales standpoint, but the people who admit to submitting to all 7,000 link lists tend not to post too much and never really state its value. They must be too busy submitting.

I agree, I love building but I hate submitting and mirroring I try to time my submitting so it only takes up the first period of a hockey game. I'll only mirror a site that I feel really kicks ass and since I'm my own harshest critic not many pass that test Also, I rarely spend much time worrying about SE's unless I'm working a small niche where the competition's not too tough.

For a niche like mature or oral I submit to around 72. For some of the more obscure niches it's more like 30-40, depending on who doesn't accept the variety of porn I'm promoting, like pregnant or watersports.

72-ish Link Lists is the number I'm used to submitting to now, so on those days where I'm promoting a less popular niche it's a bit of a blessing when the submit time is halved.
I don't hate submitting....yet, as it still feels very satisfying - like the end of a working day.
It usually takes me around 30-40 minutes to do a full 72LL submit using FireFox tabs, and I try my best to relentlessly do it every 24 hours and five minutes, 7 days per week.

I hate missing a day, as I figure someone else is then grabbing my sales, and they're mine, I tell you, all mine!

Keeping freesites looking different and fresh is bloody hard!
