Good Wednesday Morning

Anywho...my Obama lawn sign finally arrived yesterday and it is identical to the one my neighbors already placed in my lawn after having one of their sisters steal it from someone else's lawn in Vermont. So, for all of you flagrantly racist individuals in the chat room, I now have two Obama lawn signs in my yard, a "Veterans for Obama" rally sign in my front window, two Obama bumper stickers on my truck, as well as one on my wife's car.

Obama signs get stolen around here. At first, it was assumed that they were being taken by racists and/or really crazy McCain supporters, but then there was the realization that the Obama signs were so hard to come by, that they were being stolen by Obama supporters for use in their own yards. Go figure. A house down on the corner had a McCain sign on each roadside of their corner lot. A few days later, one was missing. The next day, the second sign was crumpled and tossed in their shrubs. They put it back up and two days later it was gone. I was amused, but I don't agree with destroying the other party's signs. Freedom of Speech and all. (I assume it was done by the same guys who gave me my first stolen Obama sign.)

Wow, you can get all the Obama signs you want around here and they only cost $5! The guy that is burning our signs has a McCain sign and no one has touched it but he won't let the Obama signs stay up. It's become a neighborhood thing. We have never liked having racists on our street but have always left them alone. Now that they are doing this we are all just fed up! Every neighborhood has their asshole so they say!
