Good morning everyone,
Today is the birthday number 1 of my fiancee's niece. I haven't bought a present yet, any ideas?

Morning all.

I've made 12 lbs of shea body butter in the last two days, and another 6 lbs to go today and I'll be done. Our house is starting to look like a shea butter / shoe factory, lol. I've got a lot less empty jars to go since I took that picture.

MadHatter is down to about 6 pairs to finish (the yellow line ones, that is tape making them off to airbrush them to look like bricks) and we should be pretty good to go for next weekend's fair.

So porn and shea butter again today. Have a good one all.

When I sent that to my son, I thought man that looks like I'm processing drugs or something, lol. We actually have a triple beam in the garage, that is the kind of scale I used back in my pot days.

Work for now, and then later put some of the living room back together.

We're also going to take the kids to a Halloween carnival tonight.

I was going to say shea butter and painted shoes, but that would just be silly, I mean, where would you find those two things together.

Seriously though, I have no idea what 1-year-olds are into these days. Maybe an iPhone?

In the years before my 'official' coke days, a friend's dad was a neurosurgeon with a lab at home where he had a beautiful and incredibly precise scale which operated in a vacuum inside a glass dome. But once his dad caught him using it (and punished him in a way not unlike that below) we had to find another way to be sure what things weighed.

To be sincere I had no idea what shea butter and painted shoes were, so I googled both terms and I think the painted shoes are a cool present indeed!

Ponygirl, happy anniversary!

The scale in that picture is so not precise, you couldn't weigh drugs on it, lol. It is only accurate to 2 10ths of an ounce. But it works for filling 5 oz shea butter jars, and weighing out raw materials and mailing boxes.
