That which does not kill us, will try, try again.

While I don't submit traditional free sites any longer, I do think that doing it the way Holister is offering provides benefits for both LL owner and submitter.
Robert is right that this has been tried without much success before though. It's always hard to change the established and accepted way of doing things. Part of the problem is that the benefit immediately flows to the LL owner, since the recip link from the submitter's index page would be there right from the start. But the submitter will usually still be submitting an old-style free site with a table full of reciprocal links that's just missing that one LL's recip link. It could be good for the submitters who already build a "clean" (no recips) version of each free site since they could submit a link to that version. But submitters who don't already do that would have to make a clean copy to get the full benefits and not everyone wants to add more work to their schedule for something they don't know will benefit them. I think this is something that would need to be agreed on by at least a majority of the largest LLs who currently send the most traffic to free sites before you can expect much change from submitters. Like no one says...adapt or don't. ![]()

Operator! Give me the number for 911!

That's good point. Then maybe it would be fair to offer submitters kind of 'signup bonus'. Like 3 free sites listed immediately after registration's approval? |

It was smaller list I believe that had no real love by the big G engine. Thats why I stated with the right list this could work.
