I had a dream last night that I was in court, charged with "bringing the Internet into disrepute". This was because of my plan to "retro fit" my non profitable sites with unblockable pop unders!
Still rejoicing about the Doctor's return yesterday. The season started with a bloody good episode. The before the credits scene was so good I thought "this is going to be a disappointment, the actual show cannot sustain this level throughout" But I was wrong, it was a really good episode (even by Dr Who standards). My sympathies to all of you who don't have BBC America - you don't know what you are missing! You can buy a thing-a-ma-bobble (I think that is the technical term) that receives broadcast TV and pipes it into your computer. You can then use normal screen capture software to capture TV screenshots. Sci fi fans do it all the time, then post their work on Twitter, Facebook etc.. Or if you don't want to go to the expense, you can use the TV screen capture method that sci fi fans used before the thing-a-ma-bobble was invented. - Point a camera at the screen, and click the button! |
