Monday November 16th (aka Who Cares What I Type Here...)

Good day.

Just had lunch and been up working as usual since 7am. Have to take the wife's car in for an oil change and put the winter tires on soon then after that basketball tonight.

When I was a kid, my grandmother taught me a prayer: "Oh Lord, please help me to think before I open my big mouth." When I ditched my religious devotion, I should have at least kept that prayer:

There is this guy who works lunchtimes and evenings (works in catering) who spends the hours in between shifts drinking cider in the park. He absolutely loves the puppy, and the puppy loves him. So when I pass where he is sitting we stop and he plays with the puppy for a bit.

On a Monday he usually greets me with "How was your weekend? Good?" He didn't today, so I greeted him with "How was your weekend? Good?"

Then I remembered that he is French!

Greenguy - The best laid plans of mice and men are doomed to be forever thwarted by the ingenuity of dogs and cats!

Cleo - My sympathies. To me hot tubs have all the dangers of an orgy but with none of the fun!

The public swimming pool is chlorinated, the ocean is salted - so both of these are disinfected enough for me, but any other bathing I do, I do solo!

Of course hot tubs have one advantage over the ocean in that in a hot tub you can't get eaten by sharks.

Unless you are really, really, really unlucky!
