IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship is on. The Soviets just knocked out the land of cheese & cocoa. Canadia takes on the Slovaks next, then Pagan's confusion starts as USA takes on Finland

I NEVER know what day of the week it is. That happens when you work from home and do pretty much the same thing every day. It doesn't help that all of my calendars are in Finnish either.

Confusion? What confusion? Either team could take this one so it will come down to who makes the fewer mistakes and plays harder. This is one of those beautiful times when I get to just enjoy good hockey from two teams that are pretty darned equally matched. (Have to root for Finland 'cause that is where I now call home. I don't want to be deported. Besides, they are the underdogs right now!)
