You know linkster no matter what we did or how we handle this situation there would be somebody who complained or was upset how as to how we handled it.
I think that we have done better than most programs that just belly up and have the "fuck you" attitude towards their affiliates.
The issue of redirecting is only temperary and once the new owners have things in place all links will go right back to where they are supposed to as far as we understand.
So instead of putting the burdon on the affiliates to change everything or just having 404 pages we sent them to a different site that allows them to still make money and not loose anything they have built up.
If us trying NOT to be like other programs and just keeping peoples money or just going poof is not good enough I don't know what else to say.
