That is theft by the LL owner, not by me submitting the site. I'm just doing as i am told by this guy too, who no doubt insists that everyone use his "super new recips" or doesn't get listed.
On my LL, i let all sites in that have my recip and no dead links or anything illegal as long as they aren't obviously crap.

I get people trawling through my HTML code, and checking WHOIS records. Who the hell has the time for that?

Rayzor - you are correct - it is theft by that LL owner - and thats why the other LLs decided not to list any sites that have that recip to that LL - very similar to another recip theft that happened recently.
On our LLs we not only think about the surfer, but we consider the effects of letting one person slide with this type of copying - next two people do it - then so on.
As far as who has time for checking all the cheaters - anyone that wants to make a good profit with their LL had better worry about cheats, trawlers, code theft and establish themselves as part of the LL owners community that has some general rules about respect for each other.
