Not bashing your sites or anything but, damn I got hit with deja vu when I saw them. I must have seen your work at a sponsor somewhere but I can't remember where. |confused|

I've submitted several of very similar sites to these over the years...

if you mean the paysites, then I have one other sponsor using very similar tours, mainly because I did them. But I haven't done any designs for 'clients' for a few years. Atleast any that are online yet. Not quite sure what you ment with your comment though..

You REALLY see how the same basic template structure is being re-used by looking at multiple free sites promoting the same paysite.

One of the greatest annoyances on those HOSTED FREE SITES (not free hosted sites) is the keyword stuffing of the thumbs' alt tags. It's pointless and, as I said, annoying.

One of the reasons I very rarely use HFSs is due to the fact that they quickly begin to look the same. If I can't add more than a couple of a sponsor's HFSs without seeing the same template, I simply don't bother. Some people seem to think that changing one graphic or the background color is enough to call it a new template. It's not. Think about the overall layout of the site.

GG if I was to pick one issue with HFS (LOL) and HFG .. it would be really nice if sponsors provided the frame work for recip linking on these tools

should be very easy from them to provide us.

Why do you want to add recips? Are you trying to submit HFS with your link code to link lists? If so I think you are heading for a few blacklists. I rarely blacklist anyone, but my TGP blacklist is almost entirely people who shove sponsors hosted galleries in a frame or Iframe, with a few recips at the top.

I've been looking thru lots of hosted free sites here lately to try and fill in my link list and have added quite a few, but frankly if these sites were submitted to me I probably would have declined 90% of them, and I havent even looked at any of the sponsors that greenie listed. I guess even the sponsor hosted free sites that are considered "good" dont even scratch the surface of what is submitted.

I guess for me this is both good and bad, irritating as hell that spoonsors cant (or just dont want to spend the time and or resources) make decent hosted free sites as a link list owner, but as a free site submitter its comforting to know that link lists in no time soon will be able to push submitters aside and list mainly hfs. I really think that for a program to do the hfs thing correctly they would need to hire a full time free site maker (fluent english speaking person, not some 3rd world slave that makes 200$ a month putting in 50 hour weeks) that is constantly building free sites at the rate of a couple to three unique sites a day.

They're a little heavy on the graphics side & the main & gallery pages are all the same template with different colors & backgrounds.

Yes they are, and it was a conscious decicion to make them that way, both graphics and similarity. Just to save time to be honest. You wouldn't list those on your site because they're too similar in appearance?

The sites are not yet live as isn't my affiliateprogram version 2, so I still have time to shake things around. However I'd hate to just discard those sites and start from scratch, as even with the same template it took me quite a few days to make those all...

I quite honestly thought it WAS enough. It IS enough when submitting GALLERIES.

Ah, woudn't know about that. I know one that I use FHG's with quite similar galleries, and one other sponsor to whom I made galleries for. But not sunnydollars, not sure if I've even seen a sunnydollars gallery..but a gallery can't get more basic than this.
